Otolaryngology Nurse Practitioner

Locum tenens Advanced Practice Provider opportunity in Portland, Oregon for an outpatient ENT and pediatric urology clinic .

Providers who are in the process of obtaining an Oregon license will be considered. However, the licensing process must be initiated immediately to ensure timely onboarding for the target start date.

Coverage Overview:

• Outpatient clinic only (no call)
• Pediatric ENT clinic coverage with additional pediatric urology post-op visits (as comfortable)
• Flexible schedule: approximately 0.5 0.7 FTE
  • 2.5 3 days/week ENT clinic
  • 0.5 1 day/week pediatric urology post-op visits
• Potential for up to 4 clinic days/week depending on need
• Target start date: end of August / September 1
• End date: 02/26/2027
• Epic EMR
• Approximately 14 patients per clinic session
• No admissions or inpatient rounding required

Daily Schedule Structure:

• 8:00 8:30 AM administrative time
• 8:30 AM 12:00 PM patient care visits
• 12:00 1:00 PM lunch
• 1:00 4:30 PM patient care visits
• 4:30 5:00 PM administrative time
• 8 guaranteed hours per day
• Overtime applies after 9 hours/day

Candidate Requirements:

• Active Oregon license (or in process; must be initiated immediately)
• Board Certified or truly Board Eligible
• BLS required
• APP (NP or PA) with ENT experience required
• Urology experience is a strong plus (especially post-op care)
• Comfortable with pediatric ENT cases
• Preferred skills: wound assessment, suture removal, flexible endoscopy, tonsil/adenoid evaluation, otitis media management, nasal cautery, and foreign body removal

Credentialing & Compliance:

• Active license and DEA required
