ATC Locums in Kearney, Nebraska is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to provide inpatient and emergency department call coverage. With no clinic responsibilities, low daily patient volume, and dedicated hospital support, this is an excellent opportunity for physicians who enjoy operative fracture care and focused trauma call.

• Location: Kearney, Nebraska
• Practice Setting: Level II Trauma Center Inpatient/Emergency Department
• Coverage Dates:
  • August
  • September
  • October
  • November
  • December 7 13
• Schedule: 24-hour call coverage (7:00 AM 7:00 AM)
• Ongoing Availability: Multiple week-long coverage blocks available

• Dedicated 24/7 orthopedic trauma call
• No outpatient clinic responsibilities
• Surgical management of orthopedic trauma cases as needed
• Procedures: General orthopedic surgery and fracture care
• Average patient volume: 1 2 patients per day
• Average callback time: Approximately 2 hours
• Hospitalists manage medical admissions

• EMR: Epic
• Experienced Emergency Department and Operating Room teams
• Credentialing timeframe: Approximately days

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Completion of an Orthopedic Surgery residency
• Nebraska medical license or IMLC eligibility
• DEA required
• ATLS preferred
