Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship preferred, not required
• Active New Mexico license or IMLC required
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS required
• Temporary privileges available
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30 days

Facility Details:

• Trauma Level III
• 99 Beds
• EMR: Medhost
• Inpatient and outpatient setting

Support Staff:

• 2 RNs, 2 MAs, 2 APPs, 2 office staff
• No supervision required

Volume:

• Clinic: patients per day
• OR/procedural volume based on need
• Average 3 phone consults per night

Case Mix:

All procedures are listed under the 'preferred' tab, not required

• General orthopedic procedures
• Arthroscopy
• Total joint replacement (hip and knee)
• Shoulder procedures
• Bread and butter orthopedic cases

Additional Notes:

• Admissions handled by hospitalist team
• Full clinic staff and anesthesia support available
• Call is low intensity with minimal callback
