Looking for a high-impact locum assignment with a manageable call schedule? St. Mary Corwin Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado is seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon for urgent coverage in September/December, with opportunities for additional sporadic dates moving forward. This is a great option for an orthopedic surgeon who enjoys trauma coverage and wants flexibility without committing to a full-time schedule.

• Location: Pueblo, Colorado
• Setting: Level III Trauma Center
• Schedule: 24-hour call, 7:00 AM 7:00 AM
• Call-back: Typically 1 4 hours
• Gratis: First 4 hours of call-back included
• Patient Volume: Approximately 2 5 admissions per day
• Patient Population: Adolescent, adult & geriatric
• EMR: Epic
• Support: Hospital-based trauma resources; no dedicated orthopedic support staff
• Availability: Urgent September coverage plus December dates and ongoing sporadic coverage

• Nov. 26, 2026 Dec. 1, 2026
• Dec. 24 Dec. 28, 2026
• Dec. 30, 2026 Jan. 4, 2027

Physicians should be available for at least one of the listed blocks and willing to provide ongoing coverage as needed.

• Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgery
• Active Colorado license or IMLC with LOQ in hand
• Transferable DEA required for September coverage
• Clean malpractice/background history
• Epic experience preferred
• Emergency temporary privileges may be available
