Browning, Montana Indian Health Services (IHS) Facility Start Date: ASAP Assignment Length: 26+ Weeks / Ongoing Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Flexible Scheduling Available
Full-time preferred Open to part-time schedules including:
2 weeks on / 2 weeks off Month on / month off Other flexible rotations
Rate is All-Inclusive (No Additional Travel Reimbursements)
Practice Details
Bread-and-butter optometry cases Average daily patient volume: patients/day Appointment lengths: minutes depending on visit type Two fully operational exam lanes
Services Provided
Routine comprehensive eye exams Acute eye evaluations (irritation, foreign bodies, etc.) Glaucoma screening and treatment Diabetic retinopathy screening using JVN imaging system Referrals to specialty ophthalmology services
No surgical procedures performed onsite
Support Staff
Medical Support Assistant (MSA) currently onsite MSA responsibilities include:
Operating JVN imaging system Eyeglass ordering and repairs General clinic coordination and support Optometry Technician position currently in hiring process
Preferred Experience
Previous rural health and/or Native health experience strongly preferred
Requirements
Any State License Accepted Additional requirements TBD Please review submittal requirements prior to submission
Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60 Days
