Optometric Technician

Description: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Optometric Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our optometrists in providing top-quality eye care services. Responsibilities include conducting preliminary eye exams, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic. Requirements: Key Responsibilities: Conduct pre-tests and gather patient medical histories Assist with visual acuity testing and lensometry Perform retinal imaging and other diagnostic tests Maintain and clean examination equipment Educate patients on contact lens care and eyewear options Manage patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations Assist with administrative tasks as needed Qualifications: Previous experience as an optometric technician or in a similar role preferred Strong understanding of optometric procedures and equipment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Attention to detail and ability to multitask Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems Certification as an Optometric Technician (COA or COT) is a plus PI131deb1e2ee4-0102
