Operations Specialist

Operations Specialist Location: Malvern, PA Pay: $30 to $32.50/hr Shift: Sunday to Wednesday 9:30pm to 8am -Responsibilities The Operations Specialist plays a critical role in monitoring and managing building systems to ensure operational continuity and safety. This position requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to emergent situations in a fast-paced environment. Monitor and manage critical alarms related to building mechanical infrastructure, fire, and life safety systems through Building Automation Systems (BAS) Conduct proactive virtual tours of facility systems to verify proper operation and maintain working knowledge of BAS functionality Track, escalate, and communicate incidents with potential business disruption through established protocols and communication channels Provide technical support to field operations by troubleshooting equipment using BAS data, evaluating trend reports, and performing system overrides when necessary Support and coordinate building shutdown activities via BAS, ensuring timely notifications to stakeholders Validate proper approvals for vendor work prior to commencement Receive, generate, and process work orders in the designated system, dispatch technicians, and follow up as required Prepare, maintain, and issue accurate shift reports that capture critical operational information and ensure seamless communication across teams Foster a positive, collaborative team culture by maintaining open communication, supporting colleagues during high-pressure situations, and contributing to a healthy work environment Deliver exceptional service and maintain a client-focused approach in all interactions, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and trust Perform other tasks as assigned to support operational objectives -Required Education, Skills, and Experience High School diploma or GED equivalent Strong proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel Understanding of technology, software applications, and computer systems Ability to analyze system operations, identify malfunctions, and take corrective action Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to produce accurate reports under client-defined deadlines Self-starter capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and effective during stressful or emergency situations -Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience Degree or coursework in a technology-related field from an accredited institution Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) HVAC experience Ready to bring your technical skills and grit to a fast-paced operations role?
