Position: Occupational Medicine Physician
Location: Woodbridge, New Jersey (On-site)
Job Type: Contract / On-site
Schedule: Minimum 30 hours per week
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Medicine Physician to provide on-site occupational healthcare services in Woodbridge, New Jersey. The physician will be responsible for conducting employee medical evaluations, managing occupational injuries and illnesses, performing DOT/CDL physicals, and supporting workplace health and safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive on-site occupational healthcare services.
Conduct employee medical consultations, examinations, diagnosis, and treatment.
Perform pre-employment physical examinations.
Conduct CDL/DOT medical examinations in accordance with federal guidelines.
Review employee medical histories and evaluate physical and mental fitness for duty.
Perform functional capacity evaluations.
Manage workers' compensation cases and workplace injury care.
Conduct light-duty and return-to-work evaluations.
Support employee leave management and fitness-for-duty assessments.
Provide emergency medical care when required.
Order and review diagnostic tests and coordinate referrals to specialists.
Serve as the Medical Review Officer (MRO) for applicable drug and alcohol testing.
Support respiratory fit testing and other occupational health programs.
Provide court testimony related to occupational health cases when required.
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted New Jersey Medical License.
Board Certified in Occupational Medicine.
Minimum 5 years of Occupational Medicine experience.
Certified by and an active member of the National Registry of Medical Examiners (NRME).
Strong experience in occupational health, employee health evaluations, and workplace injury management.

Copy of active New Jersey medical license.
Board certification documentation.
National Registry of Medical Examiners certification.
Professional references with occupational medicine experience (preferred/required).
Work Location & Schedule
Location: Woodbridge, New Jersey (On-site).
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week.
Services will be provided on-site within the organization's Medical Department.
Daily work schedule will be determined by the facility.
Minimum Requirements
Active New Jersey Medical License.
Board Certification in Occupational Medicine.
5+ years of relevant Occupational Medicine experience.
National Registry of Medical Examiners certification and membership.
Availability to work on-site for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
