Job Description

Occupational Medicine NP/PA Needed in California
Target Start Date: January 19, 2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks; potential ongoing opportunities
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:30a 5p (Day shift only)
Call Details: No call
Practice Details:

Outpatient occupational medicine clinic
Responsibilities include evaluating and treating occupational medicine patients, completing documentation, collaborating with Medical Director, and ensuring compliance with state practice acts and workers compensation regulations
EMR experience preferred
Patient population: Adult
Duties may include DOT exams, injury care, and urgent care-type visits

Requirements:

Graduate of accredited NP or PA program
Active California license (not willing to license)
Certifications: BLS and AED required; ACLS preferred; NRCME (DOT Medical Examiner) required
DEA required
Experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or emergency medicine preferred (new grads welcome)

Credentialing Timeframe: TBD
Location: Bakersfield, California metro area
