Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

OBGYN locums in New York with a steady OB and a predictable weekly structure, two clinic days plus one 24 hour in house hospital call shift while the team recruits permanently.

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient OBGYN, approximately 95% OB work
• Annual delivery volume around 1300 to 1500
• Clinic pace runs about 12 to 15 patients per day
• Support in place, hospitalist on call for the hospital side plus LPNs and scribes

Schedule

• Two clinic days per week
• One 24 hour in house hospital shift per week
• Hospital call runs 8am to 8am, on site stay with bed and workout room available
• Clinic hours are typically 8:30am to 4:40pm, with flexibility on clinic timing

Cases and Procedures

• Low risk OB, predominantly vaginal deliveries
• C section rate around 4%
• Some GYN including IUD placements and removals

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• New York medical license required
• Comfortable with eCW in clinic and Cerner in the hospital
