Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

We are seeking OB/GYN Hospitalists for locum coverage in a hospital-based labor & delivery setting. This role focuses on high-risk obstetric coverage alongside Maternal Fetal Medicine support in a collaborative hospital environment.

Assignment Details:

• In-house OB hospitalist coverage
• 12-hour and 24-hour shifts available
• Ongoing shift opportunities

Schedule:
Multiple day and night shifts available
Providers must specify which listed shifts they can cover upon submission

Practice Setting:

• Hospital-based OB Hospitalist coverage
• High-risk obstetric patient population
• Epic EMR + OBIX fetal monitoring

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Coverage of MFM patients and OB service
• OB emergencies and urgent obstetric care
• Assist with C-sections and obstetrical procedures
• Coverage for unassigned OB patients
• Collaborative work with in-house OB/GYN team

Department Highlights:

• deliveries/day
• Level II nursery
• 24/7 MFM support
• CNM support available
• No resident supervision required

Requirements:

• Board Certified OB/GYN
• BLS required
• Trauma Level I or II experience required
• Minnesota license preferred
• IMLC accepted if no MN license

Credentialing:

• Standard timeframe: days
• Emergency temporary privileges available for clean files

Additional Notes:

• Open to generalists comfortable with high-risk OB
• OB-only coverage currently (no GYN required)
