A well-established and growing manufacturer in the label and packaging industry is seeking an experienced Flexographic Press Operator for its Marietta, GA production facility.

This is a hands-on press operator position for someone who understands flexographic printing, takes ownership of print quality, and is comfortable handling press setup, color, registration, troubleshooting, finishing, and production documentation. Candidates with experience operating multi-color flexographic presses in a pressure-sensitive label or narrow-web environment are strongly encouraged to apply.

  Set up, operate, and monitor flexographic printing presses according to job specifications.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform press setups, changeovers, and job tear-downs accurately and efficiently.

  
  


• 
  

  Operate blank and multi-color flexographic presses to produce quality labels and related printed products.

  
  


• 
  

  Mix and adjust inks to achieve required colors and maintain proper ink viscosity throughout production runs.

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor color, registration, print clarity, material condition, and overall finished-product quality.

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct visual inspections and use appropriate measuring tools to verify customer specifications.

  
  


• 
  

  Troubleshoot print-quality, mechanical, registration, ink, and production issues.

  
  


• 
  

  Change master rolls and remove completed rolls from the press.

  
  


• 
  

  Clean ink pans, rollers, plates, and other press components between jobs.

  
  


• 
  

  Operate slitter rewinders and tabletop finishing equipment as needed.

  
  


• 
  

  Convert master rolls into finished rolls according to job requirements.

  
  


• 
  

  Package finished products, label cartons, and prepare completed work for the next stage of production.

  
  


• 
  

  Accurately document setup information, materials, footage, run times, quantities, and other required production data.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform routine press cleaning and basic preventative maintenance.

  
  


• 
  

  Work closely with supervisors, quality, ink, and other production team members to meet production schedules.

  
  


• 
  

  Follow established safety procedures and properly handle inks, chemicals, tooling, and production materials.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S and plant standards.

  
  

• 
  

  4+ years of flexographic press operating experience Confirm if required .

  
  


• 
  

  Hands-on experience setting up and running multi-color flexographic printing equipment.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of flexographic printing fundamentals, including color, registration, impression, ink, plates, anilox rolls, and print quality.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to independently perform press setups and changeovers.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to identify and troubleshoot common flexographic printing and mechanical issues.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience performing in-process quality inspections.

  
  


• 
  

  Good mechanical and technical aptitude.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to read and follow job specifications and production instructions.
