Salary: $37 - $51 per hour A bit about us: We're an inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Lexington, KY, and part of a growing nationwide network of rehab hospitals. Our patients are recovering from strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic surgery and other serious conditions. They work toward independence through intensive daily therapy, 24/7 nursing care and care plans built around each person. Competitive pay with performance based increases You'll run the whole department: budget, menus, purchasing and team development Medical, dental and vision coverage for you and your family, plus PTO that grows with your tenure A 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, and FSA/HSA options Tuition reimbursement and continuing education to keep your career moving Job Details Job Details Lead and staff the Nutrition Services Department, setting the policies and procedures for food production, safety and team development Manage the department budget, purchasing, receiving and inventory control Coordinate food production for both patient meals and the cafeteria line Set food quality, quantity and portion standards, and plan cafeteria and special-event menus Keep sanitation, temperature control and food handling compliant with HACCP and regulatory standards Requirements RD/RDN or NDTR (CDR), CDM (CBDM), or executive chef background 3-5 years of healthcare clinical nutrition or executive chef experience 5+ years of healthcare food service experience, or 5+ years of management experience Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Culinary Arts or a related field preferred Strong knowledge of hospital food service operations, nutrition/dietetics and HACCP guidelines Interested in hearing more?
