Position: New Product Manufacturing Engineer (Req #: A2792) Location: Austin, TX Duties: Develop, implement and release new product BOMs for complex modules and product structure. Work with key stakeholders to develop and implement new product manufacturing, test, and sourcing strategies. Develop, implement, and release of BOMs and product structure for Endura Platform product offerings. Utilize data from 3D solid model virtual analysis process, including Master Layout (MLO) and Digital Mockup (DMU) to recommend solutions to improve manufacturability. Actively participate in design reviews, provide DFA, DFAe, DFTp, ITO, and operational efficiency improvement feedback to new product development team to drive cost, quality, and cycle time goals. Work on Change Control Board (CCB) and apply principles of Configuration Management as it pertains to the Endura Platform. Facilitate development and implementation of change requests and executes change control processes including Non-Standard Requests (NSRs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Supplier Problem Sheets (SPSs), Engineering Specification Waivers (ESWs). Provide on-site manufacturing support for all early phase development opportunities (Managed Build) for the purpose of providing Fit Form Function validation of concept designs, real-time or quick turn issue resolution. Work on achieving all Applied safety and quality standards, regular attendance at time sensitive key strategic Endura Program meetings. Requirements: Associates degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field, and 7 years of experience in occupation or related position. In the alternative, employer will also accept a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field, and 5 years of experience in occupation or related position. Demonstrate knowledge and/or experience in each of the following: 1. Teamcenter Engineering, UG/NX, AutoCAD, CorePlus, and Accolade PLC Software. 2. Systems Applications and Products (SAP); 3.
