Patient Population: Adult
Setting: Inpatient + Outpatient Clinic + Call

Responsibilities:

• Onsite clinic coverage during regular hours
• Inpatient and after-hours call coverage
• 24/7 inpatient call
• EEG interpretation for inpatient and outpatient cases
• Provide hospital coverage even if clinic schedule is light

Required Procedures:

• Radiologic exam interpretation
• Lumbar puncture (spinal tap)
• EEG
• Brain death examination
• Evoked potentials

EMR System: Cerner

Support Staff: Hospital-based team

Days Per Month: Varied (specific coverage blocks)

On-Call/Weekends:

• Night call: 4:30 PM 8:00 AM
• 24-hour weekend call required
• Call back paid hourly

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certified in Neurology (BE not accepted)
• Active Michigan license at name clear
• Active DEA
• BLS & ACLS (NIH Stroke Scale/tPA preferred)
• Clean malpractice history with carrier and limits listed
• Availability and preferred shift type clearly stated
