Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience in Cisco routing, switching, and network administration.
• Proficiency in enterprise firewalls and network security systems including Cisco and Palo Alto architectures.
• Experience with configuring and securing Cisco VPN tunnels and remote access pathways.
• Experience in complex troubleshooting, enterprise routing protocols, and switching optimizations.
• Experience with network monitoring and packet tracing tools to analyze traffic and isolate latency.
• Experience in deploying and maintaining wireless networks and hybrid cloud infrastructure environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure, install, maintain, and upgrade multi-vendor routing, switching, and security hardware.
• Troubleshoot complex network failures and resolve performance bottlenecks across a statewide infrastructure.
• Design and analyze network architectures to align with established security policies and best practices.
• Maintain comprehensive technical network diagrams and configurations using documentation platforms.
• Implement software updates, security patches, and firmware upgrades to sustain optimal version compliance.
• Resolve technical issues within voice-integrated communication lines and high-availability systems.
• Provide knowledge transfer, mentorship, and technical reference support to operations center peers.
