This is a hybrid position requiring at least two days/week onsite. Candidates local only to PA only, please.

Description:
  • Our client is seeking a Network Engineer 2 to assist network and security team with network security server maintenance and support for local area networks metropolitan area networks and private cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
  • The successful applicant must be capable of meeting or exceeding challenging deadlines while performing daily duties that will include:
  • Build maintain and troubleshoot physical and virtual servers.
  • Ensure current patch level is maintained on servers.
  • Assists in investigation and mitigation of security incidents.
  • Configure maintain and troubleshoot physical Cisco and distributed virtual switches VMware.
  • Configure maintain and troubleshoot routers Cradlepoint.
  • Monitors the teams open backlog of support issues.
  • Work towards departmental and project deadlines.
  • Document and present recommendations for issue/risk remediation to team leads and managers.
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
  • VMware vSphere experience, Required 2 Years
  • Server Administration experience, Required 3 Years
  • Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Desired 2 Years
  • Cisco Networking, Desired 2 Years
  • Cisco Unified Communications - VOIP, Desired 1 Years
  • Nessus by Tenable, Desired 1 Years
  • Firewall Administration, Desired 1 Years
  • Linux Administration, Desired 1 Years
