Position Overview

This position includes teaching middle and upper school mathematics courses, contributing to a collaborative faculty culture, and investing in the life of the school community.

Primary Responsibilities

• Teach middle and upper school mathematics courses (potentially including Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, or other advanced coursework based on experience)
• Design and implement engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans
• Use a variety of instructional strategies to support diverse learners
• Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Maintain consistent communication with students and families
• Create a classroom environment that supports both academic growth and character formation
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events
• Serve as an advisor, mentor, or club sponsor as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Valid state teaching certification or licensure (preferred)
• Experience teaching mathematics at middle school or upper school level
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents/guardians
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development
