Molding Technician

We are seeking a Molding Technician. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production of high-quality molded products by setting up molding equipment, monitoring production processes, performing machine adjustments, and troubleshooting equipment issues while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and start molding machines according to production schedules.
• Install and remove molds, tooling, and auxiliary equipment.
• Adjust machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, cycle time, and material flow.
• Monitor production runs to ensure product quality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot molding defects and machine malfunctions.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Inspect finished products using measuring tools and quality standards.
• Document production data, machine settings, and maintenance activities.
• Follow workplace safety policies and manufacturing regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve processes.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification is preferred.
• Experience with injection molding or other molding processes.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and process documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and production reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
