Mixer

Basic Function:

To manage all aspects of the mixing process to ensure that quality products are being produced in a safe and efficient manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with Warehouse and Supervisor to receive necessary materials required for work order.

• Check raw material labeling against work order to ensure correct materials are being utilized.

• Weigh materials and record measurements against work order to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Utilize mixing equipment in a safe manner in line with associated procedures and training ensuring all equipment is being

maintained and calibrated for use.

• Clean station and equipment throughout use, ensuring that at shift end working area is fully cleaned and clear of any

debris, following 5S principles.

• Close out each mixing order by ensuring paperwork is complete and return raw materials as required.

• Communicate with extruder operator to ensure material charges are ready in a timely manner.

• Work with supervisor to plan daily timeline of mixing charges as needed

• Follow company policies to promote a safe and productive environment through effective teamwork and communication.

• Report any issues or concerns to shift supervisor or if necessary to production management.
