Family Life Community School Employment Opportunity Many Bible passages speak of the necessity of Christian education. Psalm 127:3 says, "Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is His reward." All children belong to God, and He is deeply concerned with their education. Parents are entrusted with the important responsibility of training their children according to biblical principles. Ephesians 6:4 instructs parents to "bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord," while Matthew 28:20 reminds the church of its calling to teach believers to observe all that Christ commanded. At Family Life Community School, our faculty recognizes the responsibility of teaching in loco parentis-in the place of parents. We believe that effective Christian education is best accomplished through the partnership of three essential supports: the church, the Christian home, and the Christian school. Like a three-legged stool, each plays a vital role. Because religious education begins in the home and is founded upon the local church, active church involvement is essential to the success of the Christian school ministry.
