Job Summary and QualificationsThe Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering direct patient care in accordance with the Registered Nurse Practice Act. This role involves:
Utilizing therapeutic communication techniques in daily interactions.
Maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
Identifying nursing challenges based on the unique needs of each patient.
Planning personalized patient care through an interdisciplinary approach.
Engaging in performance improvement initiatives.
Providing care that aligns with the hospital's mission and vision.
In the role of charge nurse, you will oversee daily operations to ensure high-quality patient care in a supportive environment. Responsibilities include:
Making staff assignments based on patient needs, acuity levels, and staff competencies.
Serving as a role model and clinical resource for team members.
Responding promptly to inquiries or follow-ups regarding physician, staff, or patient matters.
Current Registered Nurse license.
Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or CPR certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
