As a Mental Health Technician, you'll play a hands-on role in helping young people feel safe, supported, and empowered on their wellness journey. Key Responsibilities Provide age-appropriate care and emotional support to youth and adolescent patients Support daily routines and group activities in a structured treatment setting Monitor patient safety and well-being through direct engagement and observation Collaborate with clinical team members and contribute to individualized care plans Assist with patient transportation and participate in de-escalation when needed Complete educational activities to support your ongoing professional development Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise High School/GED preferred WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS At least one (1) year of psychiatric or hospital/nursing home experience preferred You'll Be A Great Fit for This Role if You: Are calm, grounded, and able to respond compassionately in crisis situations Enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Are committed to providing trauma-informed, respectful care to youth and families Believe in the potential for recovery and wellness, no matter the challenge Are physically able to support patients who may need assistance with mobility or daily routines
