Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations

  • Manage day to day office workflow, including scheduling, check in/out, and patient flow.
  • Maintain office policies, procedures.
  • Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and facility maintenance.
  • Oversee outpatient gastroenterology procedures.

Staff Leadership

  • Supervise and support front office staff; assist with hiring, onboarding, and training.
  • Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage.
  • Promote a positive, team oriented work environment.

Billing & Financial Support

  • Liaise with billing company to correct problematic claims as needed.
  • Monitor collections of copays, balances and patient responsibilities.

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and payer specific regulations.
  • Oversee accurate medical records and release of information requests.
  • Support internal quality improvement initiatives.

Technology & Systems

  • Manage EHR/EMR workflows, tickets and staff training.
  • Troubleshoot basic system issues and coordinate with IT support.

Patient Experience

  • Address escalated patient concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Monitor satisfaction trends and implement service improvements.
  • Ensure a clean, welcoming, and efficient office environment.
