Toyomaster Auto Repair is seeking a Master Automotive Technician with advanced diagnostic and repair capabilities in Willis, TX. Earn a $75,000-$100,000 annual salary plus bonuses while working Monday-Friday in a fully climate-controlled shop. This locally owned, independent repair business specializes in Toyota, Lexus, and other Asian vehicles and serves the Lake Conroe community with quality repairs, honest recommendations, and attentive customer service. Founded in 2017 by an ASE Master Technician with more than 30 years of Toyota dealership experience, the shop offers an opportunity to contribute technical leadership while remaining hands-on with challenging repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and troubleshoot complex mechanical, engine performance, and drivability concerns.

• Complete heavy-line engine repairs and major mechanical work.

• Diagnose difficult vehicle problems independently and complete accurate, quality repairs.

• Service primarily Toyota and other Asian vehicles, including routine maintenance as needed.

• Assist with shop foreman duties, including technical guidance, diagnostic support, and workflow coordination.

• Communicate diagnostic findings, repair recommendations, and progress clearly with service advisors.

• Maintain accurate repair documentation and collaborate with fellow technicians to support efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Eight to ten years of professional automotive repair experience preferred; candidates with additional experience are welcome.

• Demonstrated Master or A-Level diagnostic and repair capabilities.

• Advanced experience with engine diagnostics, heavy-line repairs, and drivability troubleshooting.

• Ability to diagnose complex concerns independently and complete repairs accurately.

• Toyota and Asian vehicle experience preferred; domestic, European, dealership, and independent shop backgrounds are also welcome.

• Ability to guide fellow technicians and assist with foreman responsibilities; previous technician leadership experience is a plus.

• Personal automotive tools required. ASE certifications and experience with Snap-on diagnostic equipment are preferred; familiarity with Tekmetric and digital vehicle inspections is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary of $75,000-$100,000, based on relevant experience and demonstrated skill.
