Date: Thursday, June 11th Time: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Where: Best Western Plus New Ulm Conference Center, 2101 S Broadway, New Ulm, MN, 56073
Open Position:
Production Operator (New Ulm, MN)Shifts: Fixed or rotating, depending on availability
Midnight: 11 pm - 7 am fixed
Afternoon: 3 pm - 11 pm fixed
Day/Afternoon: 7 am - 3 pm and 3 pm - 11 pm rotating
Starting Pay:
$25.00 - $28.11 per hour, depending on job responsibilities
$1.50 per hour differential for afternoon and midnight shift and double time pay on Sunday
As a Production Operator, you will be part of a team that keeps our manufacturing operation running safely, efficiently, and with pride for the products we produce and the customers we serve. Requirements:
Do you have the ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed?
Do you have the ability to work 8 to 12 consecutive hours per day on a weekly fixed schedule, i.e. 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm or 11pm-7am or rotating shift, i.e.days, afternoons

What You Do
Follow safe work behaviors and look out for hazards
Follow safe operating procedures and customer specifications to produce high quality products delivered on time
Operate automated, production, converting, molding, assembly, and packaging equipment while meeting performance/output goals
Monitor processes, order inputs, load materials, inspect materials, and performing quality inspections to release product
Create a positive, inclusive work environment
Use a computer and computer controls to run equipment
What you Bring To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED (completed prior to start)
Ability to work 8 to 12 consecutive hours per day
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
Completion of a job-related readiness assessment
Ability to lift/carry heavy materials
Ability to comprehend, understand, and apply written and verbal directions from standard operating procedures, safety rules and supervisor coaching
Ability to wear personal protective equipment in accordance with safety rules
