Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in material handling and automation, is seeking a Mech & Robotics Tech to join their team. You will be part of the Operations Maintenance department supporting a distribution facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent teamwork, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mech & Robotics Tech

Location: Lutz, FL

Pay Range: $25/hr. - 2nd shift

What's the Job?

  • Support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the facility.
  • Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment to ensure smooth operations.
  • Complete preventative maintenance routines with accurate documentation to uphold equipment reliability.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
  • Mentor junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • At least 1 year of experience with PC competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 49 lbs, stand, walk, and perform repetitive movements during long shifts.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical systems.
