MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Roanoke, VA Commercial Laundry & Linen Services

The Jericho Group Consultants, LLC is recruiting an experienced Maintenance Technician for a commercial laundry and linen services operation in Roanoke, Virginia.

This is a hands-on maintenance position focused heavily on HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and industrial equipment reliability. The Maintenance Technician will help keep production equipment and facility systems operating safely and efficiently while minimizing downtime.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including 3-phase 230V equipment.
Troubleshoot and maintain HVAC systems, including chillers, rooftop units, compressors, and related equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Perform preventive maintenance and respond to emergency equipment breakdowns.
Troubleshoot PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, and industrial controls.
Maintain and repair boilers, water systems, pumps, compressors, and facility equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, manuals, and technical documentation.
Perform equipment inspections and identify potential problems before they result in downtime.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
Assist with welding, fabrication, plumbing, and general facility maintenance as needed.
Follow all safety policies and OSHA-related procedures.
Work closely with production and operations personnel to keep equipment running efficiently.
Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
IDEAL CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will have:

2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience working with industrial machinery and production equipment.
Knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Experience with boilers, pumps, compressors, or water systems is preferred.
Welding, fabrication, plumbing, or general facility maintenance experience is a plus.
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to use power and hand tools safely and effectively.
A team-oriented approach with a commitment to safety and equipment reliability.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
