Maintenance Technician

About the Role We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support equipment, facility, and production uptime within a high-volume precision manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of machinery used in machining, plating, and finishing operations.

You will play a critical role in keeping production running efficiently by troubleshooting issues, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repair on manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines, plating lines, and finishing systems

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime

Inspect machinery and identify potential issues before failures occur

Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment as needed

Maintain and repair pumps, piping systems, filters, and related production equipment

Support maintenance of facility systems including electrical, plumbing, and compressed air systems

Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and calibration of equipment

Assist with fabrication, including basic welding and repair of fixtures or components

Support tool and die repair or fabrication as needed

Document maintenance activities and support continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Trade or Technical School preferred

3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience working with CNC machinery, plating or chemical processing equipment, or similar industrial systems

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

Familiarity with pumps, piping systems, and industrial equipment

Basic welding experience (MIG, TIG, or similar) preferred

Exposure to tool and die repair or fabrication is a strong plus

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift

Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs

Comfortable working around machinery, chemicals, and industrial equipment
