Maintenance Specialist

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and plant systems by performing preventive and corrective maintenance, inspecting production machinery, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and responding to unexpected breakdowns. The position requires specialized knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, as well as practical experience in equipment inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines, compressors, dryers, and other production equipment.
Inspect machinery and equipment to identify wear, abnormal conditions, and potential failures.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize equipment downtime.
Perform scheduled maintenance, including lubrication, adjustment, calibration, and replacement of worn or defective components.
Diagnose recurring equipment issues and implement appropriate corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and performance.
Support the installation, adjustment, and maintenance of production equipment, auxiliary systems, and plant utilities.
Maintain accurate records of equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and replaced parts.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform necessary repairs to restore normal production operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Maintenance Technology, or a related field.
At least three (3) years of professional experience in equipment maintenance, mechanical systems maintenance, industrial maintenance, aircraft maintenance, or a related technical maintenance field.
