LVN - Correctional Facilities

Job role: Licensed Vocational Nurse
Location: Tehachapi, CA
Pay rate: $45/hr on W2

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 12 months of direct patient care experience within the last 3 years.
Active and valid California LVN License.
Current BLS Certification (AHA or American Red Cross).

Job Responsibilities:
Provide basic nursing care and assist with patient treatment.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patients and report changes to the RN or Physician.
Document patient care accurately in medical records.
Assist with physical exams, clinic visits, and minor procedures.
Collect specimens for laboratory testing.
Educate patients on health and treatment plans.
Maintain medical equipment and ensure a safe patient care environment.
Assist mental health staff by observing and documenting patient behavior.
