What will my role entail?
Job Summary: The Low Voltage Technician will specialize in the maintenance and repair of commercial security systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection systems, and IT network infrastructure/servers. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Lead Low Voltage Technician will also provide mentorship and leadership to junior technicians, ensuring high standards of safety and functionality. Exceptional customer service and support during all project phases are essential.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in ACCESS control systems, including experience in intrusion detection systems and video surveillance systems.

Skills: High awareness of job site safety protocols and strict adherence to Benson's safety standards underscore a commitment to a secure working environment. Excels in analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving tasks, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitating clear and effective interactions.
Background Check: Must pass a background check with no DUI or domestic violence records as some work may be on Federal Property and Military Reservations.
Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
