Our organization in Minnesota is looking for a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to take on a locum tenens role that is ongoing. This presents a fantastic chance to become part of a cooperative behavioral health team that delivers both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care, with the potential for a permanent position in the future.

• Ongoing assignment available
• Full-time coverage required
• Clinic hours from Monday to Friday
• Responsibilities include both inpatient and outpatient care
• Weekend and evening on-call duties necessary
• Utilization of Epic EMR system
• Long-term opportunity possible
• Open to physicians with IMLC licenses

• Behavioral health-focused setting
• 15-bed inpatient unit available
• Up to 18 patient interactions daily
• Robust support structure for behavioral health
• Services offered include medication management, psychotherapy, TMS, and ECT programs

Applicants should be adept at treating:

• Anxiety disorders
• Mood disorders
• ADHD
• Personality disorders
• Eating disorders
• Developmental disorders
• Psychotic disorders
• Organic psychiatric disorders

Experience with involuntary commitments, seclusion protocols, and the use of restraints is advantageous.

• Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Fellowship training is preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Eligibility for hospital privileges
• Preferred experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatry
