Locum Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner - NM license - $95-$105/hr

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide locum services in an Emergency Medicine setting in New Mexico.
This is an excellent opportunity for an APP with advanced emergency care experience looking for consistent swing shift coverage with potential for ongoing placement.

Job Details:

Specialty: Emergency Medicine

Setting: Acute Care Hospital Emergency Department

Schedule:

Swing shifts (11:00 AM 11:00 PM or 4:00 PM 12:00 AM)

12-hour shifts

Anticipated ongoing coverage needs

No call required

Contract Length: Ongoing (locum assignment with potential extension)

Unit Details: 60-bed hospital with 12-bed Emergency Department

Patient Population: Mixed adult and pediatric emergency cases

Team Support: Collaborative environment with physicians and APPs

Charting Software: Epic

Responsibilities:

Provide emergency care in a hospital ED setting

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute conditions

Perform procedures as credentialed within scope of practice

Document and update patient records in Epic EMR

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure optimal outcomes

Requirements:

Active New Mexico NP license (required)

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (all required)

Experience with Epic EMR (required)

Minimum experience: Proficiency in emergency medicine skills

Ability to work independently in a busy ED setting

Credentialing:

Estimated timeframe: 60 days from application submission

Temporary privileges available with clean file ( 30 days)

All onboarding documents must be submitted promptly
