PRN Anesthesia Coverage Michigan (Surgery Setting)

A facility in Michigan is seeking an experienced anesthesia provider for sporadic PRN coverage, with potential for ongoing intermittent dates.

Practice Details

• Setting: Surgery center
• Trauma Level: IV
• Annual Volume: 13,000 cases
• Daily Volume: 20 surgical cases per day (including endoscopy)
• Patient Population: Pediatrics through geriatrics
• EMR: Epic
• Facilities: 2 ORs and 1 endoscopy suite
• OR Staff: Fully staffed
• Supervision: Supervised by an anesthesiologist
• Work Style: Must be experienced and comfortable working independently

Requirements

• Board Certified Required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS Required
• Active Michigan License Required (IMLC/Compact not accepted)
• Local Provider Only Drive-in (no flights covered)
• COVID Vaccine Required
• Self-Query NPDB (within 30 days at time of submission)

Pre-Start & Credentialing

Prior to Start:

• Epic training required (waiver available with sufficient experience)
• Mandatory orientation (orientation compensated at half the regular rate)

Within 30 Days of Start:

• Physical exam and 5-panel drug screen (not reimbursable)
