Licensed Independent Social Worker

We are seeking a Licensed Independent Social Worker to join our team! You will assess and treat individuals with mental, emotional, or substance abuse problems, including abuse of alcohol, tobacco, and/or other drugs. Activities may include individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, client advocacy, prevention, and education

Responsibilities:

• Assess nature of clients' situations by interviewing and reviewing personal history
• Carry caseload of 15-20 clients
• Develop and execute individual treatment plans
• Determine appropriate milestones to gauge client progress
• Communicate client updates to all relevant parties
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and programs
• Maintain accurate client documentation

Qualifications:

Licensed Social Worker

• Previous experience in social work, counseling, or other related fields

• At least 5years previous work experience in behavioral health care/social services.

• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong leadership qualities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
