Lead Programmer Analyst - Onsite

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Lead Programmer Analyst for a contract position with a Major Insurance Company located in Omaha, NE or Albany, NY. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. Compensation: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications Position Overview: This position is for a senior-level Duck Creek Lead Analyst with project coordination or team leadership experience. The role involves applying deep technical knowledge of Duck Creek to analyze, develop, and solve complex business and system solutions. The incumbent will take a leadership role in difficult configuration and implementation tasks for key insurance products. Key Responsibilities: Assume responsibility for difficult Duck Creek configuration and implementation tasks by taking a leadership role Perform independent configuration and solution design for complex business requirements according to technical specifications and standard system implementation techniques Lead a small technical team or project Read and interpret business and technical documents Possess knowledge of Duck Creek configuration principles, insurance product setup, business rules, forms, workflows and system implementation techniques Collaborate with other team members to ensure high-quality deliverables within organization guidelines, policies, and procedures Ensure the highest level of application and platform availability Respond promptly to production issues by participating in on-call rotation for 24-hour support of the team's systems Assist with maintaining documentation related to Duck Creek code and configuration changes, testing results and deployment activities Propose and create configuration designs, specifications, diagrams, and process models to provide direction to development and implementation teams Prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Primary Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning or equivalent work experience in the business or technical world A minimum of 5+ years of experience Knowledge of business insurance marketing, underwriting, policy administration, accounting, billing, claims, and/or administration processes and procedures Serves as a subject matter expert in Duck Creek and provides support for insurance product implementations and enhancements Desired Skills: Similar insurance industry specifically commercial insurance experience Experience supporting Duck Creek applications or comparable insurance policy administration systems Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
