Lead Piping Designer

ResourceTek's client, a global consulting engineering company with headquarters in Nashville, TN has a need for a Lead Piping/Mechanical/Process Designer experienced in the Chemical/Oil/Gas and Refinery industries. This is a long-term assignment (9+ months) in the Nashville, TN area with the possibility of the position going direct for the right individual. Duties/Qualifications Provide initial design project specifications, title blocks, scales, etc. Assist other piping designers with any concerns/questions related to P&ID drawings, piping and mechanical design services. Experienced using the 3D AutoPLANT Design System on an AutoCAD base. Knowledgeable of all processes related to the Chemical, Oil, Gas and Refinery industries is essential. A self-starter who can work independently but be part of a team, is also essential.
