We are seeking a Lead Security Installation Technician or a strong Level II Technician ready to step into a leadership role. This individual will lead installation projects for enterprise-level security systems while working independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead installation projects for access control, CCTV, intrusion, and IP-based security systems
  • Run, terminate, configure, and test low-voltage cabling and system components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and system layouts
  • Provide day-to-day direction to technicians on-site
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers on job sites
  • Ensure quality control, project timelines, and proper system functionality
  • Perform system commissioning, troubleshooting, and final turnover
  • Track project progress and maintain documentation
  • Deliver strong customer service and maintain professional communication
Required Experience
  • Experience installing and servicing enterprise security systems
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Access Control Systems
    • CCTV / IP Video Systems
    • Intrusion / Alarm Systems
    • Networking fundamentals (IP-based systems)
  • Ability to work independently and lead small teams
  • Experience reading blueprints and coordinating installs

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
