LAYOUT AND FITTER FOR MISCELLANEOUS/ STRUCTURAL STEEL

Job description:

Looking for a Head fabricator who can layout and fit. Must be able to oversee and lead a team in completion of various projects. Looking for someone with experience in that role.

Responsibilities:

Layout structural and miscellaneous steel

Fit up structural and miscellaneous steel

Operate overhead crane unloading material and loading finished projects

Lead a team in projects to completion

Job Skills, Qualifications, Requirements:

Certified welder

Osha 10 card or greater

Form of transportation

Understand and speak English

Ability to MIG and stick weld

Ability to read blueprints or follow technical specifications

Ability to work with hands, lift heavy objects and stand on your feet for long periods of time; often doing repetitive motions.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Advanced mathematic skills.

Pay commensurate with experience. Medical insurance and 401k program offered

Job Type: Full time

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7AM to 3PM. Occasional Saturdays if needed

Occasional overtime to complete projects

Prompt attendance is required

Must be highly motivated and ready to give your all
