We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Manager/Cook for our new Italian restaurant located in Downtown Lowell. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in Italian cooking along with solid kitchen management experience to help us deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily kitchen operations ensuring quality and efficiency
  • Prepare and oversee Italian cuisine with attention to authenticity and presentation
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow
  • Manage inventory to control costs and prevent shortages
  • Create staff schedules and manage kitchen labor
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of kitchen management experience
  • Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine
  • Experience with kitchen operations and food safety protocols
  • Skilled in inventory management
  • Proven leadership in team management and staff training
  • Ability to handle scheduling and development of kitchen personnel
