Role: Jr. Security Analyst Location: 100% On-Site (Manhattan, N.Y.) Duration: 6+ Months Probable Interview Process 1st. Video. 2nd On-Site Mandatory Local Candidates - Utilities Experience Preferred JOB DESCRIPTION Role Summary Join the team applying AI and machine learning to real security challenges: threat detection, log analysis, anomaly spotting, and automation. You'll work alongside senior engineers and Enterprise Architect to build and support tools that strengthen our security posture. What You'll Do Help develop, tune, and monitor AI/ML models for threat detection and log analysis. Prepare and label security data (logs, alerts, telemetry) for model training. Build scripts and automation to streamline security workflows. Integrate AI tooling into existing security pipelines. Document models, data sources, and workflows clearly. Collaborate across security and engineering teams. What You Bring Bachelor's in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Working knowledge of Python. Interest in security and AI, with a drive to learn and grow. Strong communication and attention to detail. Nice to Have Experience with ML libraries (scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow). Familiarity with security fundamentals (networking, logging, common threats). Exposure to SIEM/SOAR platforms or cloud environments. A relevant certification (Security+, AZ-900, or similar).
