Job Description
Major New York City Based Waterproofing and façade restoration company is seeking a qualified candidate filling an estimator position with a minimum of 3 to 5 years.
- Keep an accurate chart of all bids with due dates and walk-thru dates.
- Contact all contractors and send out RFP's and RFI's.
- Perform take offs and prepare budget breakdowns using excel.
- Review projects with assigned project managers.
- Fill out all bid forms and all other required documents for project bidding.
- Prepare project schedule and presentation boards.
- Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
- Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.
- Use of Microsoft Work, Excel, Blue Beam, & Auto Cad
- Salary and benefits commensurate with position, (medical & 401K).
