Journeyman Electrician

We are looking for a highly motivated Journeyman Electrician, with 10+ years of experience to join our team working on multiple commercial locations in Westchester County. This position will be a part of our construction team and will work closely with the other skilled trade employees. The ideal candidate can work independently as well as part of a team, enjoys a fast-paced work environment, and values safety, quality, and high achievement. Job Responsibilities:

• Test electrical systems using tools that include voltmeters and ohmmeters
• Electrical conduit installation up to 4"
• Repair electrical issues by replacing or installing components, wiring or devices
• Electrical roughing and wiring with NEC compliance
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements; also through reporting violations of policies, procedures and guidelines to immediate supervisor
• Use ladders, scaffolding, platform and lifts to work on electrical systems in commercial properties
• Maintain equipment to ensure it is in good condition and can operate or be used safely; report any issues to immediate supervisor

Job Skills & Qualifications Required:

• Completed electrician apprenticeship
• Proficiency with the National Electrical Code and local codes
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to read blueprints
• Must pass criminal background check and drug test
• OSHA30 (Westchester County)
• 10+ years experience working in new hi-rise residential construction
• Ability to use wire puller and electric/hydraulic pipe benders
• Must be efficient and experienced in all aspects of high-rise residential electrical installations, including roughing and trimming of apartments/amenities, and core electrical installation
