Janitorial Tasks & Duties

• Clean building and keep it maintained / in good condition

• Restock toilet paper, paper towels, sweep and mop the floor, empty trash cans, clean and potentially unclog toilets, spray mirrors and sinks clean.

• Clean and stock restrooms

• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment

• Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs

• Collect and take out trash

• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision

• Keep cleaning supplies in stock

• Work with a contract cleaning service when necessary

Janitorial Shift Info

• Day Shift, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm

• 2nd shift, 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm

• Tuesday - Saturday

Janitorial Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)

• Janitorial experience preferred

• Able to work in the US

• Willingness to work early morning or late night shifts

• Ability to work well under minimal supervision

• Capacity to work outdoor environment during the Iowa summer. Will potentially work in heat or rain

• Strong attention to detail

• Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary

• Able to pass a backgroundcheck

• Able to work in the US
