Job Details Job Details: Our organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Systems Manager to join our team. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. This position will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, security systems, and network operations within our Engineering department. Responsibilities: 1. Manage and maintain IT systems, ensuring they meet necessary specifications and regulations. 2. Develop and implement IT policies and best practice guides for the organization. 3. Oversee and manage security of all systems, especially the cloud, and install and manage firewalls. 4. Conduct regular system audits and software upgrades including troubleshooting and problem-solving for IT systems, network malfunctions, etc. 5. Implement and manage VPNs and Zscaler Private Access to ensure secure and efficient data access and transfer. 6. Design, implement, and manage changes to our IT infrastructure architecture. 7. Implement and manage CMMC Level 2 and NIST 800-171 security controls. 8. Regularly interact with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. 9. Work closely with the IT team to provide end-user support and issue resolution for employees. Qualifications: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems management, with a focus on security and compliance. 3. Proven experience with CMMC Level 2, NIST 800-171, Palo Alto Firewalls, VPNs, and Zscaler Private Access. 4. Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols. 5. Experience with scripting and automation tools. 6. A proven track record of managing and delivering IT infrastructure projects. 7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 8. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues. 9. Certifications in ITIL, CCNA, or CISSP would be considered an advantage.
