We are seeking a motivated, hands-on IT Deployment Technician to support a large-scale workstation and hardware deployment project. In this role, you will handle physical delivery, imaging, installation, configuration, and end-user support for laptops, workstations, and associated peripherals across multiple regional offices.
Key Responsibilities
Unbox, stage, image, and configure laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals.
Coordinate deployment schedules and execute on-site hardware rollouts and swap-outs.
Provide deskside technical support and troubleshoot hardware, peripheral, network connectivity, and operating system issues during deployment.
Maintain accurate inventory tracking, asset management logs, and equipment status updates.
Ensure proper organization, staging, and cleanup of hardware storage and work areas.
Travel to regional branch facilities (including Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, and Jackson) as scheduled.
Physical Requirements
Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods during setup and installation.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are a strong plus.
Prior hands-on experience in PC deployment, hardware staging/imaging, or tier 1/2 desktop support.
Solid working knowledge of Windows OS, hardware peripherals, network printers, and basic connectivity troubleshooting.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Must possess a valid drivers license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
Must be able to pass a standard criminal background check prior to onboarding.
Working Conditions:
Location: Nashville, TN (On-site with state-wide travel; expenses reimbursed per state guidelines)
Position Type: Contract (Long-term)
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (7.5 hrs/day, 37.5 hrs/week)
