IT Analyst - Onsite

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Analyst for an onsite contract position with a Manufacturing Company located in Carson City, NV. This is a contract opportunity with an expected duration through the end of the year. Compensation: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications Position Overview: This role is responsible for providing Tier 1 technical support for hardware, software, and computer systems. The IT Analyst will install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows operating systems, manage Active Directory and O365, and support various network components in an enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities: Build strong relationships with end users and provide Tier 1 customer service Provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, software, and hardware Implement, install, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing and new Microsoft Windows operating systems Resolve help desk tickets as assigned Diagnose and correct system related failures and perform system management activities Manage Active Directory and O365 users, computers, and mailboxes Maintain, install, and troubleshoot network components and peripherals; copiers, printers, workstation terminals, Cisco switches, VOIP phones, VPN Networks Support administration of Citrix, EMC, and VMware environment Determine users' technical needs and provide them with appropriate solutions Maximize network and systems performance through monitoring tools Maintain documentation of technical maintenance procedures Primary Requirements: A minimum 2+ years related experience and/or training Experience in building, upgrading, and repairing PCs and laptops Experience in Active Directory, writing GPO's and PowerShell Scripting Technical skills with Desktop/Laptop: Antivirus, Basic Troubleshooting, Firmware Upgrades, Imaging Technical skills with Microsoft Stack: Active Directory, Office 365, Powershell, Windows Ability to work independently and with a team Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with remote and onsite users Ability to effectively explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical staff Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; detail orientated with high appreciation for excellence and quality Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Desired Skills: Experience in writing system documentation, system specifications / requirements and training materials Experience in a manufacturing environment Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
