Irrigation Technician

Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair complex irrigation systems for both commercial and residential customers.
Understand basic pipe sizing and irrigation components and design.
Repair and maintain valves, tracing electrical components, and perform pump repairs.
Spring start- up.
Mid-season inspections.
Winterization and blow-out
Ability to visually identify hot spots and make proper adjustments.
Install and/or repair controllers that operate irrigation systems.
Inspect properties and generate reports to ensure the proper service.
Make necessary repairs and adjustments to maintain all systems in proper working condition.

Requirements:
2 to 4 years as an Irrigation Technician.
Irrigation equipment, including irrigation heads, quick couplers, etc.
Irrigation systems (manual and automated).
Basic plumbing knowledge.
Safety practices and principles related to field maintenance.
Basic arithmetic and mathematics principles.
Valid drivers license and ability to maintain states and company eligibility.
Must be able to work outside regardless of the conditions as long as safety standards are upheld.
Physical ability to lift and carry objects weighing approximately 50lbs.

Good customer service skills.
Current drivers license with good driving record.
Self-motivated, good work ethic, honest and dependable.
