Investment Funds-Associate Attorney

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an Associate to join our Investment Funds practice in Boston. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced attorneys to advise clients on a wide range of investment fund matters, including fund formation, fund financing, and fund governance. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and talented individual to gain hands-on experience in the investment funds industry and contribute to the success of our clients.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (or eligibility to sit for the bar exam in Massachusetts)
0-3 years of experience in investment funds or related experience in a law firm or financial institution
Strong academic record and excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in investment funds, asset management, or private equity
Familiarity with fund formation, fund governance, and regulatory issues affecting investment funds
Experience working with clients in the financial services industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
